1. Age Restriction & Identification
• The Congo Den is a strictly 40+ venue.
• All guests, ticket buyers, and patrons must be at least 40 years of age to enter.
• A valid, government-issued photo ID is required for entry at the door. Failure to provide proof of age will result in denied entry without a refund.
2. Dress Code Policy
• We enforce a strict “Dress to Impress” dress code.
• Management reserves the right to deny entry to any patron who does not meet our style standards, regardless of ticket possession. No refunds will be issued for dress code violations.
3. Ticket Purchases and Refund Policy
• All ticket sales for events at The Congo Den are strictly non-refundable.
• Ticket sales are processed through our authorized third-party vendor, Eventbrite. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to abide by Eventbrite’s Terms of Service. The Congo Den is not responsible for platform fees, processing errors, or disputes originating on Eventbrite.
4. Performer Content and Intellectual Property
• Ownership: All rights to music, biographies, photos, videos, and other materials uploaded or shared by performers (“Performer Content”) belong entirely to the respective performers.
• Public Use License: By sharing, submitting, or uploading Performer Content to our website, you grant The Congo Den and its affiliates a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, distribute, and promote your content publicly on our website and social media platforms.
5. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any given moment without prior notice.
6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any legal actions, suits, or proceedings must be filed exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.

When you purchase tickets, your transactional data and payment information are collected and processed directly by Eventbrite. We receive limited consumer data (such as your name and email address) to manage event entry and our email list, which we protect under this policy. Live Recording
This is a live event venue. By purchasing a ticket and entering the premises, you consent to being filmed or photographed for promotional and advertising purposes.
